MEDIA ASSISTANT

We’re looking for a Christian creative professional with a passion to help the church communicate visually within the congregation and to the broader community. The ideal candidate has experience directing media (photography, videography, graphic design, social media) and will assist in equipping others for ministry.

• Create eye-catching, effective designs for print, web and social media advertisements at the direction of the Director.
• Provide graphics, landing page mockups, digital assets and design ideas for the Fuego Church website.
• Assist in maintaining the Fuego Church website
• Evaluate social media analytics and stay informed on new trends and strategies for optimization.
• Plan and implement a social media strategies with the Director. 
• Participate in brainstorming and creative planning by offering creative ideas to accomplish strategic marketing goals. Understanding of marketing strategies and audience segmentation.
• Grasp future creative trends, adapt, evolve, and implement accordingly into projects.
• Create and format graphics for varying uses (web, social media platforms, on-screen, and live stream).
• Protect and maintain brand consistency for all entities. Partner with various ministries to help meet their design and promotional goals.
• Create graphics and video projects as needed for social media, various services, special events, and ministries.
• Take design projects from concept to production. Demonstrate ability to turn concepts and ideas into actionable designs.
• Prove proficient in graphic design. Knowledge and command of Adobe’s Creative Suite.
• Ability to self-start, manage and prioritize in a fast-paced, production-heavy atmosphere.
• Ability to work on/manage many projects simultaneously.
• Craves creativity, productivity and excellence.

• At least 2 years of experience serving in a similar role for another organization.
• Understanding of and willingness to serve within the doctrinal commitments of the church. 
• Consistent spiritual and moral character and a lifestyle in line with biblical values and requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9).
• Should be willing to engage in the ministry of Fuego Church as a church member and as a staff team member.
• Baptized in the Holy Spirit, with the physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance.
• A Credentialed Minister through the Assemblies of God, in the process of becoming, or willing to become an AG Credentialed Minister.

The Media Assistant shall work Monday through Thursday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. They will report to the Media Director. The holder of the position must be a member of Fuego Church, or eligible to become a member after the appointment has been accepted. The position shall be remunerated on agreement with the Finance Director. The position is to be reviewed on a yearly basis, with an opportunity for feedback in the alternating year.
